Happy! Happy! Birthday to S!

I told you a couple of weeks ago that there would be a number of birthday posts over these next few weeks, and today is our day to celebrate S!
Happy Birthday S!  Here are The Top 5 Things I Love About You!

# 5 - Her creativity.  Whether it is using Excel or setting a table...

...or planning her wedding at the Transportation Museum...

...or hair and makeup in today's styles or the style of 1964...
...this girl has talent and flair!  She is always thinking and creating!  (And yes, I did say "using Excel" and "creativity" in the same thought.  True Excel Geeks use Excel creatively.  And S is a True Excel Geek.  And proud of it!

# 4 - Her commitment to breastfeeding little J-man throughout his first year even while returning to work.  I did this with my oldest, S, so I have a special appreciation for the extra effort that goes into doing so.  I love whenever I know that a young mother is giving her little one the very best nutrition that money can't buy!

# 3 - Watching her mother little J-man.  S loves J-man, teaches J-man, disciplines J-man, plays with J-man, reads to J-man, and works hard to do her very best to take care of him and help him to grow into all that God has in mind for J-man to be.

# 2 - She works for the same company that I do, and there is a certain satisfactory pride in watching her grow and succeed in her responsibilities and the trust others place in her.

And the # 1 Thing That I Love About S...

# 1 - She's my daughter.  And she seems to like being my daughter and hanging out with other mothers and daughters every so often.  Does it get much better?

She also seems to like hanging out with her brother and me for lunch from time to time.  How sweet is that?

Plus she hangs out as a "sista" to her mama...

So now for The Top 5 Things I Would Give S For Her Birthday if Time, Money and Resources Were No Object..

# 5 - A lifetime supply of Sushi and Shrimp Fettucini Alfredo to enjoy as often as the mood strikes her.

# 4 - Her very own hobby, makeup and hair cutting/styling space filled with ribbons and card stock and fabric and wrapping paper and bows and scissors and hair products and makeup so she could create as long as she wanted.  And then I would have a clean up service that came in right after at the touch of a button to wipe up the counters and sweep up the hair and put everything back away ready for the next time.

# 3 - A massage therapist.  Who came to her house every night after J-man was asleep.  Just because.

# 2 - A weekend away at The Pioneer Woman's lodge, cooking and laughing and creating with Pee-Dub.

And The # 1 Thing I Would Give S For Her Birthday if Time, Money and Resources Were No Object...

# 1 - A visit with one of her best friends, B, and B's daughter, J.  Cause it's been too long.  Even if they just saw each other last week, it's still been too long...

Happy!  Happy!  Birthday S!  I love you so very much and am so happy for you and proud of you!  I hope you have a wonderful birthday and a great year!

Love,
Mamma Mia Quesadilla
