20 days left...Grandsons!

So yes, technically it's 19 days and 2.25 hours left, but it's still November 12!

And before I begin with the planned post to be thankful for grandsons, I want to give a couple of updates on other things.

First, my friend from Favors last week came through her surgery well and is getting good reports!  Yea!!  For any one who prayed for her, thank you and thank God for good news!!

Second, a couple of updates on Technology.  One, I learned that I can edit pictures on my phone.

What's that you say?  Why, yes, I do make my living in IT?  Why do you ask?  Whatever do you mean?

So...this is old news to most of you, but it's NEW news to me!  I love technology!

And two, S's wife, A is one amazing lady!  She never ceases to surprise me with her geniusness.  She found an online website called Drawnames.com that you can use to draw names with wish lists for gift exchanges.  This lady is GENIUS and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Now for the main focus of today's post.  Today I am thankful for our grandsons and their parents.  Believe it or not, E chose today to be thankful for her children's grandparents, which includes yours truly, and I had chosen today to be thankful for our grandsons.  How cool is that?  Can we say great minds think alike or what?

So yes, I am thankful for these little guys and their parents, even the future grandchildren not yet born or perhaps born but not yet in our lives.  I met with these two today for lunch, and we talked about their future family holiday traditions.  So far, only the J-man is in their respective lives, but these two are intentionally planning their families now .  I love that!

These two aren't the only intentional parents of our grandsons.  Each of our grandsons are blessed with amazing parents.  E is a wonderful mother whose heart is focused on loving and raising her little men to be big men someday with a love for books and learning....taught in the quiet moments like these...

Grandsons mean sharing treats!  Like turtle cookies for A-man...(used that crop feature I recently discovered on this one!)

...or turtle cookies for O-man, hand fed by Grandpa G.

Grandpa G does a lot of treat feeding.

This is serious work.  Just look at the concentration on Grandpa G's and K-man's faces.  Cupcakes are serious business!

Grandsons come with friends...especially in pumpkin patches...

...and grandsons mean smiles!

Love each of these little guys so much!  And am very thankful they are in our lives!!

Hope they bring you some smiles and laughter, too!
